Each year, the City of Southlake hosts Celebrate Southlake, an event dedicated to celebrating the history, culture, and community of Southlake, Texas. During this event, community members come together to share their diverse cultural experiences through live performances, group activities and festive foods. This year, the celebration will take place in Family and Rustin Park located in Southlake Town Square on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 4 – 9 p.m.
Activity Booths
Southlake community members and organizations are invited to participate by hosting activity booths representing their country of origin or heritage. Hosting an activity booth is an excellent way to share one’s cultural experiences with others. Last year, organizations such as the Southlake Foundation, Southlake Sister Cities, SOMOS Southlake, and International Culture Club participated by hosting activity booths representing India, Japan, Mexico, China, Colombia, Brazil, and many more.

Performances
In addition, Southlake community members and organizations represented their countries of origin or heritage by performing on stage. Performances ranged from a Mongolian Dance to a Bollywood instructional.
